Garlic Butter Steak and Potato
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. steak bites (sirloin or ribeye, cut into bite-sized pieces)
- ½ lb. small potatoes (baby or fingerling, halved)
- 3 tbsp butter, divided
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- Optional: ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions:
-
Prepare the Potatoes:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil.
- Add the halved potatoes, season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and Italian seasoning, and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown and fork-tender.
- Remove potatoes from the skillet and set aside.
-
Cook the Steak:
- In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add steak bites in a single layer (work in batches if needed). Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove steak from the pan and set aside.
-
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- Reduce heat to medium, add the remaining 2 tbsp butter and minced garlic. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
-
Combine Everything:
- Add the cooked potatoes and steak bites back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the garlic butter sauce.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and optional red pepper flakes.
-
Serve & Enjoy!
- Serve hot with your favorite side or enjoy it straight from the skillet!
