Succulent Grilled Stuffed Squid 🦑🔥
Tender squid tubes filled with a savory, aromatic stuffing and grilled to perfection — this dish brings a taste of the Mediterranean to your table!
Ingredients:
- 8 medium squid, cleaned (reserve tentacles)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- ½ cup cooked rice or breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ tsp paprika
- ¼ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Instructions:
- Finely chop the squid tentacles and sauté them in olive oil with garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Add tomato, rice or breadcrumbs, parsley, paprika, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Stir and cook 3–4 minutes. Let cool.
- Stuff each squid tube with the mixture, securing the ends with toothpicks.
- Brush with olive oil and grill over medium heat for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and slightly charred.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice before serving.
