Pita with Herbs

 


Cheese-Stuffed Pita with Herbs & Sesame


Ingredients:


2 large pita breads

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp butter, melted

1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions:


Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix mozzarella, feta, parsley, dill, garlic powder, and black pepper.

Stuff the Pita: Cut pita in half and carefully open the pockets. Fill each half with the cheese mixture.

Toast: Brush the outside with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Cook: Heat a skillet over medium heat and toast the stuffed pita for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

Serve: Cut into halves and enjoy warm.
