Hashbrown cassrole

 



Hashbrown Casserole 


Ingredients:


1 (30 oz) bag frozen hashbrowns, thawed


1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup


1 cup sour cream


2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


1/2 cup melted butter


1/2 cup chopped onion (optional)


1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


1/2 teaspoon salt


1/2 teaspoon black pepper


1 cup crushed cornflakes or Ritz crackers (optional topping)


2 tablespoons melted butter (for topping)



Instructions:


1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.



2. In a large bowl, mix hashbrowns, soup, sour cream, cheese, melted butter, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.



3. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.



4. (Optional) In a small bowl, mix crushed cornflakes or crackers with 2 tbsp melted butter, then sprinkle over the casserole.



5. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
