Honey Garlic Butter Baked Chicken
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
3 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp honey
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
1 tsp fresh rosemary (or ½ tsp dried)
Salt and black pepper to taste
½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions:
1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Prepare Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
3. Make Sauce: In a small bowl, mix melted butter, honey, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, and half of the rosemary.
4. Sear Chicken: Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for 2 minutes per side until golden.
5. Bake: Pour the honey garlic butter mixture over the chicken and sprinkle the remaining rosemary on top.
6. Cook: Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
7. Serve: Spoon the sauce over the chicken before serving. Enjoy!
