Alfredo Lasagna



Spicy Crawfish Alfredo Lasagna


Ingredients:


1 pound crawfish tails (peeled, cooked)


1 box lasagna noodles


2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)


1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese


1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese


1 cup ricotta cheese


1/2 cup heavy cream


1/2 cup diced onions


1/2 cup diced bell peppers (red, green, or both)


3 cloves garlic, minced


2 tablespoons butter


1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)


1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional for extra spice)


1 teaspoon smoked paprika


1/2 teaspoon black pepper


1/2 teaspoon salt


1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)



Instructions:


1. Cook the Lasagna Noodles


Boil noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.




2. Prepare the Spicy Crawfish Filling


In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions, bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté until soft.


Stir in the crawfish tails, Cajun seasoning, red pepper flakes, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Cook for 3–4 minutes.


Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from heat.




3. Assemble the Lasagna


Preheat oven to 375°F.


Spread a thin layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.


Layer with lasagna noodles, followed by the crawfish mixture, spoonfuls of ricotta, and a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan.


Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.




4. Bake the Lasagna


Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes or until golden and bubbly.




5. Garnish & Serve


Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
