π₯ Ham and Cheese Puff Pastry Pockets
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry (about 250 g), thawed
150 g (5 oz) ham, sliced or diced
150 g (5 oz) cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Gruyère), grated
1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)

Instructions
1. Prep the oven
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Cut pastry
Roll out the puff pastry sheet slightly if needed. Cut into 4 equal squares.
3. Fill parcels
Place a spoonful of ham and cheese in the center of each square.
4. Fold & seal
Fold each square into a triangle (or rectangle/parcel shape).
Press edges together with a fork to seal.
5. Egg wash
Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
6. Bake
Place parcels on the tray and bake for 15–20 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown.
7. Serve
Let cool slightly, then enjoy warm as a snack, breakfast, or light meal.
