Cheese stuffed bread

 


Cheese-stuffed bread topped with melted cheese and sprinkled with black pepper. Here's a rough recipe for you to try:


Ingredients:


500g white flour


1 tablespoon baking powder


1 tablespoon sugar


½ teaspoon salt


3 tablespoons vegetable oil


250ml warm milk (or as needed for kneading)


Mozzarella or cheddar cheese for filling and coating


1 beaten egg for greasing


Ground black pepper


Method:


1. In a bowl, mix the warm milk with the sugar and yeast and let it rest for 10 minutes until the yeast activates.


2. Add the flour, salt, and oil and knead until you get a soft, smooth dough.


3. Cover the dough and let it rise until doubled in size (about an hour).


4. Divide the dough into equal balls, open each ball, and place a piece of cheese inside, then close the balls tightly.


 5. Arrange the balls on a buttered or oiled baking tray.


6. Brush the surface with beaten egg and place a slice of cheese on top of each ball.


7. Sprinkle black pepper over the surface.


8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
