2 cups self-rising flour


1 cup heavy whipping cream

1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.



2. In a large bowl, combine flour and cream. Stir gently just until a soft dough forms—don’t overmix!



3. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Pat it out (not too thin—about ¾-inch thick).



4. Use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut out biscuits. Gently re-roll scraps if needed.



5. Place biscuits on the baking sheet so they’re just touching—this helps them rise higher.



6. Brush tops with melted butter.



7. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.



8. Remove and brush with a little more butter while warm (optional but heavenly).
