🥖 Classic Shrimp Rolls

🦐 Ingredients
- 1 lb (450 g) cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion (or green onion)
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill or parsley, chopped
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 split-top hot dog buns (or brioche rolls)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- Optional garnish: lettuce leaves, paprika, or extra dill

Prepare the Shrimp Salad
In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, celery, onion, and dill.
Add the chopped shrimp and toss gently to coat evenly.
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Cover and chill for 10–15 minutes if you like it cold. -
Toast the Buns
Brush the sides of each bun with melted butter.
Toast in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat until golden brown on the outside and slightly crisp. -
Assemble the Rolls
Line each toasted bun with a lettuce leaf (optional), then spoon the shrimp mixture generously into each.
Sprinkle with a little paprika or more dill if desired. -
Serve Immediately
