One-Pan Chicken with Buttered Noodles recipe ππ—perfect for busy weeknights when you want comfort food without a mountain of dishes!
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
8 oz egg noodles
3 tbsp butter
Salt & pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1. Sear the Chicken
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F).
Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
2. Make the Sauce & Cook Noodles
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sautΓ© for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
Add egg noodles and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 7–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender.
3. Add Butter & Chicken
Stir in butter until melted and sauce is creamy.
Return chicken to the skillet, nestling it into the noodles.
Let everything warm together for 2–3 minutes.
4. Serve & Enjoy
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
