Creamy Garlic Butter Salmon Pasta


Ingredients:


2 salmon fillets, cut into chunks


8 oz fettuccine pasta


2 tbsp olive oil


2 tbsp butter


3 cloves garlic, minced


1 cup heavy cream


1 cup grated Parmesan cheese


Salt and pepper, to taste


Fresh parsley or basil (optional, for garnish)


Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions:


1. Cook the Pasta:


In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook fettuccine until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.




2. Cook the Salmon:


Season salmon chunks with salt and pepper.


In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil.


Add salmon pieces and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.




3. Make the Sauce:


In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.


Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.


Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently.


Bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water.




4. Combine Everything:


Add the cooked pasta and salmon into the skillet with the sauce.


Toss gently to coat everything in the creamy garlic butter sauce. Season with additional salt and pepper, to taste.




5. Serve:


Garnish with chopped parsley or basil, and a squeeze of lemon if desired.


Serve hot and enjoy!
